Virgin Coconut Oil is mainly composed of saturated fat, which makes it highly resistant to oil rancidity and its convenient for cooking because it is stability in high temperatures (under which we normally cook our food). The middle chain fatty acids that make up this oil are easily utilized by our body, which has apositive effect on metabolism.

This oil is not associated with cardiovascular diseases because it is not deposited in the body tissues and it does not negatively affect cholesterol levels in the blood. Lauric acid is a medium chain fatty acid found in the highest proportion of coconut oil (*8% to *2%), it Is also found in human milk. This fatty acid is related to the development of defenses in our body, which explains the importance of its presence during our early years.
